£18,000 to £20,000 per annum My Client are a firm of Chartered Accountants who currently have a vacancy for a Payroll Assistant within their Payroll Bureau. This is a full time position, suitable for someone with experience within a Practice or Payroll Bureau. Daily Duties will include, however are not limited to: Involvement in processing all parts of Payroll from start to finish for a number of Clients in accordance with the deadlines, including setting up new staff, inputting contractual changes Assisting with Ad Hoc queries from Clients, Colleagues and HMRC Regular Communication with Clients (internal and external) in a professional and considered manner The successful application will have the following skills: Have at least 2 years Payroll experience Ideally have a Payroll or relevant qualification Have experience of high volume payrolls, and/or Payroll Bureau service operations Good knowledge of UK PAYE Legislations and a good understanding of Statutory deductions Be able to demonstrate pension/auto-enrolment understanding and knowledge Self-motivated, efficient and hardworking Pay attention to detail Meticulous at maintaining records Have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft office package Have good communication skills Able to interact positively with staff at all level Confidential Punctual Able to take responsibility Able to deal with deadlines Able to handle several different types of pay frequencies Ables to prioritise work to meet demands of clients and the business Articulate My Client has a competitive benefits package with this role, including flexi-time, the option to 'purchase' a further 10 days' annual leave and many more This vacancy is being managed by Charlotte Roscoe at Spear Recruitment Ltd.
