-Support EMEA Markets Chief Administrative Officer with day-to-day responsibilities and strategic initiatives including but not limited to: Process improvement: Analyze and review processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement, including opportunities for automation and optimization, including where possible aligning to a global markets standard. Focus areas include Client Complaints, Conflicts of Interest and Breaches, tasks include oversight and governance to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures, whilst ensuring they remain current and are updated within appropriate review periods Support and ensure execution of regulatory obligations specific to EMEA: I) SMR: governance and administration support to regional SMR responsibilities including ensuring in scope employees adhere to and comply with certification regime requirements ii) GDPR including : -Review of new regulations communicated in updates coming from the GDPR team -maintenance of personal information processing inventory -assist coordinating and measuring and tracking for each business area -data protection controls and privacy compliance supporting -Increase effectiveness of privacy incident management and remediation -Developing privacy/data protection SME knowledge -Promoting awareness and education iii) Inter-affiliate governance - Engage in various project work streams, act as a coordinator and leader for Markets - co-ordinate monthly scorecard LoB submissions to governance forums - Support annual review of SLDs, ensuring compliance with review and attestation deadlines -provide quarterly headcount as requested by SANV for SLDs -develop knowledge of end to end workflow in order to act as SME for the SLD process for in scope entities BCP: -Support Head of Markets Resilience in executing regional BCP requirements: Running regional call tree tests Co-coordinating OCS work place recovery tests Ensuring CMS is up to date (test plans, BIA plans etc) Defines or leads strategic initiatives with major impact on the business or function supported (a unit within a business or business partner). Defines or leads major, highly complex projects related to budget, business plans, risk-related items, regulatory items, communications (presentations/speeches) and , implementation of policies, standards, processes, and/or strategic projects. Analyzes project implementation status and provides feedback to senior managers. Solves complex issues in implementation and leads the processes needed to correct the problems. Leads impactful initiatives within the business or function. Works closely with Senior Management to understand their needs and provides appropriate guidance, direction, and communication. Works with the business or function management team to implement and enforce policies, standards, and processes that require an advanced knowledge of key business or function roles and organizational design. Assists in managing business-led programs such as people-related management, global location strategy, meeting management, etc. Provides input to resource allocation and project staffing. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required;; MBA preferred 10-12 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred;; at least 5 years in project management or applicable business or function and cost-effective budgetary responsibility;; experience in the securities industry is a plus.
