I am working with a one of the UK's fastest growing foodtech business that has transformed the way consumers use plan their weekly shops Have recently announced a new round of funding, they are actively looking to hire a hands on Finance Manager to work alongside the CFO in developing the finance function as the business continues to grow organicially. In this role you will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting, you will also drive monthly management accounts and financial reporting, as well as managing ad-hoc finance projects and working cross-functionally to improve our overall operational/financial performance and cash flow.
• Implement & develop core Financial Controls, Processes and Systems (Xero, Receipt Bank and others)
• Responsible for running month-end accounting and financial close process, including bank reconciliations, adjustments, journal entries, and other balance sheet reconciliation.
• Monthly management accounts and reports direct from the accounting system
• Produce monthly management accounts and internal management packs, undertaking thorough checks and analysis as required
• Present financial information at internal meetings
• Provide all financial & accounts related reporting for quarterly Board Meetings
• Lead the shaping and growing of the Finance function and team, to support the ambitious growth plans of the business. In this role you will need to exhibit a hands on attitude and be happy to work in a fast paced, commercially focused environment. Other requirements for the role are:
• ACA/CIMA Qualified
• Previous experience working for a high growth SME.
• Previous exposure to recurring revenue models
• Business partnering experience is highly desirable
