Risk Analyst Northampton £28,000 Our client is looking to recruit a Risk Analyst. A graduate with a strong quantitative degree - Maths, Stats, Physics, Economics or related subject. To work as a member of the Model Development Team within the UK Risk Analytics Unit. Technologies used in this role include Teradata, SQL and SAS and SPSS. The key accountabilities/responsibilities Model creation and monitoring Build new compliant ratings tools to improve regulatory coverage and improved business information. Monitor rating tools in line with standards and ensure model development plan is aligned to tracking results Data Gathering Provide technical support to extract and transform internal and external data to enable data aggregation, default definition, factor generation and Masterfile creation Business Intelligence Contribute to teams understanding of the customer journey (application processes, credit management processes, customer segmentation etc) and seek to exploit and retain knowledge associated with it Skills development Proactively seek and contribute to the internal skills development program. Strategic and management Candidate Specification A degree (minimum 2:1) - Maths, Stats, Physics, Economics or related subject Proven ability to articulate and document technical concepts and analysis Experience communicating complex material to a non-technical audience Strong problem solving ability If this sounds like you, please apply today.
