Bid Manager (Pensions) This is a great opportunity to join this dynamic business development team. Working as a member of the bids team, you will manage, deliver, win bids and assist teams throughout the bid process, including from the arrival of an request for information (RFI) and invitation to tender (ITT) through to debriefing the bid. We are seeking someone to support the teams to determine what the client is really looking for in cost and service provision. Other duties will include, Chairing meetings to evaluate opportunities and considering key decisions, also being involved with guiding the project managers through all stages of the bid, providing them with tools and guidance to undertake their role and coach and challenge the teams on client interaction at all stages of the bid cycle. There is a copywriting element to this role, where you will focus on developing a compelling proposition in the pitch document by writing / developing exciting, engaging, creative, short content and in the presentation and site visit by helping to create concepts, a story board and materials to get our messages across clearly. To be considered for this role, you will have experience of managing multiple projects with critical time deadlines, 5 years business development, ideally form from a professionals services background and the ability to persuade, influence and challenge in a constructive manner and identify appropriate solutions.
