Grafton Banks Finance Executive Search have been retained to recruit a Finance Director for the division of an multi-national manufacturing group, with headquarters based in West Sussex. The division is a fast growing, c£120 million turnover business with various operations across the UK. This industry respected organisation requires a commercial and strategic FD to partner the MD to support and drive growth, improve end-to-end business performance & increase EBITDA. Given its UK footprint, the role requires effective leadership of the various finance teams working remotely today and working in partnership with local operational and commercial leadership within each location. The position is a value adding, commercially led business partnering finance role therefore, the successful individual will ensure that business improvement initiatives are continuously developed, executed, tracked and reviewed for effectiveness with regards to revenue growth, cash management, working capital management and EBITDA. Supporting the group finance functions, the successful candidate will gain exposure to the parent group board, through timely and accurate financial reporting and offering critical insights into the UK business performance. To apply for the position, you will be a highly driven, self-motivated and ambitious fully qualified accountant and current Finance Director with a solid proven track record in either the manufacturing, distribution, FMCG or industrial sectors although not essential. Previous experience of having led or formed part of finance transformation project teams is essential for example, centralising a finance team, back-office rationalisation & ERP implementation together with development of key processes.
