Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their friendly, down to earth and established team on a permanent, part time basis. Working within a small team of 4 in an office based only a 5 minute walk away from Star Lane on the Docklands Light Railway, or alternatively a 15-20 minute walk away from West Ham and Canning Town Station this role doesn't necessarily offer career progression with it being a small organisation however what they do offer is an extremely stable, friendly, down to earth and professional working environment. This is a standalone position and it is therefore crucial that this person has previous Bookkeeping experience, is competent using Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Excel as they will use this on a daily basis. Experience entering bought ledger, raising sales invoices, PAYE and VAT returns is also important as the company require a candidate who is able to hit the floor running. Working within a small team the client does require someone hard working, a team player and importantly someone looking for, and with a previous stable work history. The team are very friendly, sociable, all with a good sense of humour. Hours of work will likely be a total of 16-18 hours each week and the client is completely flexible on days/times.
