Our Client, based in St Neots, is looking for a temporary Credit Controller for 2 to 3 months to start ASAP. The temporary Credit Controller will be responsible for managing customer accounts. You will have direct communication with customers chasing payment and resolving payment issues together with: - Chase debt beyond agreed terms - To control customers credit in line with Company policy - Keep Sales Team informed of relevant issues - To liaise internally and externally to resolve queries in a timely manner - Prepare and despatch monthly statements to customers - Maintain and ensure accuracy of sales ledger records at all times - Resolve any customer queries involving the operations department where necessary - Update master records to ensure the customer contact details are correct -Issue chasing letters for overdue accounts and in-line with company policy - Instigate legal action (after obtaining internal approval) if required, in conjunction with professional resource - Process on-line card payments - Answering and dealing with phone queries - Ad-hoc duties including: copy invoices, POD's - Holiday cover - Accounts receivable Credit Control experience necessary, sage accounts experiences preferable. The hours for the temporary Credit Controller are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, £11 to £13 per hour Shepherd Stubbs is an Equal Opportunities Employer acting both as an Employment Agency and Employment Business.
