Their aim is to provide the best customer service in the industry, as well as an impressive and extensive portfolio of products. Currently LWC Drinks employ over 1000 people and they have 15 depots across the UK as well as a Support Centre and Hub distribution centre based in Openshaw, in Manchester.

Job Title:
Purchase Ledger Clerk Core Duties (May include all or some of)
• Processing Invoices, both stock and overheads
• Setting up new supplier accounts and maintain existing ledger - Due Diligence
• Complete Credit application forms
• Bank Line
• Manage ledger ranging from 400 - 600 suppliers
• Monthly reconciliation of top 10 supplier statements
• Process business expense's for Account Managers after they have been approved
• Raise petty cash and cheque requisition cheques for depots
• Processing of supplier BACS payments (twice a month)
• Inter-Company Reconciliations
• Deal with and resolve Supplier queries in a timely manner
• Liaise with Depots to resolve queries
• Credit card statements, reconciling against receipts and processing of expenses
• Contra journals between Sales and purchase ledger
• Other adhoc duties as deemed by the Purchase Ledger Manager
• House keeping Knowledge and Experience
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Confident communicator with all levels of management within the company
• Essential ledger reconciliation experience and knowledge
• Extensive previous knowledge of working in a Purchase Ledger position
• Knowledge of working on excel spreadsheets
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent team working skills
• The ability to work to monthly deadlines
• Experience of working on software packages
• Analytical and thorough, with a conscientious and enthusiastic attitude
