The Organisation Part Time Finance Manager required for a well established charity with 30 years experience in their field. This job opportunity is to cover a maternity leave of 12 months. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive, the Board of Trustees and will join the organisation's Senior Management Team and will be the most senior finance role within the organisation. strategy, The Role The Finance Manager will lead on all aspects of financial accounting, forward planning, performance and providing clear financial insight and leadership at all times and will manage a small finance team. Responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts Analysis and interpretation of financial information for presentation to board Preparing forecasts and managing budgets Working with management to support the submission of grant bids / claims The Person The Finance Manager will be: A Qualified Accountant Have staff management experience Analytical skills Strong communication skills Experience of Sage software is desirable Strong excel skills to manipulate data This is an exciting and pivotal time to join the organisation who are underway with a significant capital project which will increase both local services and employment opportunities for the community securing their next 30 years as a leading provider of care services. £40K (Pro rata) 20 hours per week 12 month temporary contract from early August 2019 (Maternity Cover)
