Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a Reporting Accountant Accountant to join an insurance company with offices in central London. The ideal candidate must be a qualified ACA / ACCA or CIMA accountant. The Reporting Accountant will be responsible for business-critical reporting and analysis in addition to non-standard management reports and analysis for internal use. Key
responsibilities:
Support the establishment of accounting controls and procedures for regulatory reporting Manage data transition from US GAAP (group reporting) to UK GAAP (entity reporting) to Solvency II Preparation and final delivery of: External financial statements for legal entities Solvency II returns for annual and quarterly submissions for the UK and Irish entities Assist in preparation of narrative reporting Regulatory reporting to the FCA for UK legal entities US regulatory reporting Liaise with internal and external audit Preparation of corporation tax returns and provisions including estimating tax for quarterly group accounts. Ensure excellent tax controls, including driving understanding and continual monitoring of recharge process throughout the business.
