We also offer all employees free fruit and refreshments, discounted gym membership and a cycle to work scheme We are looking for a Development Accounts Assistant to provide effective and efficient finance support to the development finance team which includes the recording of accurate accounting transactions for CHP and its subsidiaries. Requirements Prepare accurate scheme budgets and re-forecast schedules for budget management upload; Monitor development spend and finalise costs with Development managers; Prepare and post accurate capital accruals for all developments on a monthly basis; Produce monthly analysis reports e.g. Development net committed expenditure reports, Outturn analysis reports, Build Handover units forecast reports and any other ad hoc reports when needed; Update the daily treasury cashflow for each company with development forecast expenditure accurately; Prepare designated balance sheet accounts reconciliations on a monthly basis; Maintain and produce written working procedures; Assists the Asset Accountant with the preparation of Assets' capitalisation and disposals; Assists in the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit files; Provide cover for other areas of the Finance team as may be required from time to time; Collaborate with other members of CHP in the fulfillment of role; Undertake any other responsibilities relevant to this post, as directed by your line manager. Qualifications Educated to minimum level 4 GCSE/O Level at Grade C or above Part qualified AAT accountant or qualified through relevant finance experience Experience, knowledge and skills Experience of working in a similar finance function Advanced Excel skills Ability to work and manage relationships with other non-financial managers to resolve issues Ability to work as a member of a team to achieve targets and objectives Able to use organisational skills and own initiative in managing own workload Values and Personal Competencies Committed to CHP's values as well as Diversity and Inclusion Analytical mind and excellent attention to detail Desirable Development finance experience Experience using Sun Experience using Sequel Please ensure you take the time to answer the questions on the application form.
