Hello, we're TSB, and we're different from other banks. We don't do investment banking, overseas speculation or big corporate finance. We serve individuals and local business customers - we call it 'local banking'. Finance plays a central role in supporting the TSB strategy. Understanding the financial position of our business, from a branch level reconciliation through to high level strategy support, is fundamental to us bringing more competition to UK banking - ultimately making banking better for all UK consumers. After all, good business decisions are based on good financial information. We're the guardians of the numbers. We need to get the basics right every time so the business knows how it's doing and where it's going. Our Liquidity reporting team is at the heart of Treasury finance. Made up of a team of six individuals we develop and deliver daily, weekly and monthly reporting to external regulators. This includes the Bank of England, PRA and ECB, internal Treasury partners and Banco Sabadell group. What we need today: We need our Reporting Managers to be: Experienced in accurate and timely financial reporting, proficient in excel, manipulating data, delivering quality and controlled outputs. Ideally in a liquidity environment, but this isn't essential Great in managing stakeholders Ideally knowledge of Liquidity reporting regulation would be an advantage Studying for an accounting qualification or recently qualified Experience of financial services would be of benefit to the candidate Appraised and confident in their regulatory knowledge - CRR, Basel III, Pillar 2, for example - would be an advantage In addition to the day to day activities the team is involved in a number of exciting projects such as Pillar 2 Liquidity, reporting system improvements and working closely with our Spanish liquidity and IT colleagues. The job holder could expect to play an active role in supporting these projects and other change.
