Salary:
£37,000 p/a pro rata Hours: 21 per week The role The Finance Manager will: Take the lead role in managing Scarf's financial processes, producing monthly management accounts and work with other members of the Leadership Team to provide them with devolved budgets and support them to manage these budgets. Take a lead role in supporting the Chief Executive to produce an annual forecasted budget for the year ahead, monitor the forecast on a monthly basis and support the Chief Executive to prepare finance reports for the board; Manage organisation's payroll and pension schemes including yearend returns; Preparation of all financial information and draft accounts required for the company's annual audit; Assist the Business Development Manager with the preparation of the financial aspects of applications to secure funding, grants, donations and tender documentation. Also support the Business Development Manager to cost tenders for new contracts and business. View the full job description on our website - scarf.org.uk/vacancies Requirements A finance-related degree or relevant experience in finance; Well-developed interpersonal skills; Previous supervisory experience required; Well-developed skills in influencing and facilitation; Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to the financial procedures of the third sector; Must be able to accommodate flexible working if required.
