Are you an Accounts & Tax Senior Manager looking for a challenging new role with more responsibility and Partnership on offer? Or are you an experienced Manager looking to step up to Senior Manager / Partner Designate level in an independent practice based in Zone 3 North London? Are you looking for a role where you will be able to manage a large portfolio of clients, report to the owners of the business and manage and supervise an office of 20 staff? Are you keen to join a forward thinking and modern independent practice which offers great career progression? If so, this growing independent accountancy firm is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will be supervisory based. You will be in charge of all staff in the firm, and your duties will include liaising with clients, managing a portfolio, allocation and review of work and reporting directly to the owners of the business. Your role will include reviewing all accounts, tax and any ad hoc work of the business. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of entrepreneurial, London based clients, including media firms, entertainment companies, property clients, consultants, creative clients and opticians. To be considered for this new role you will ideally be ACCA or ACA qualified, although qualified by experience candidates will still be considered. You will either currently be operating as a Senior Manager and looking for a role with partnership prospects, or be an experienced manager looking to step up to senior manager grade. Your current role must include the above duties, including managing a portfolio, reviewing work and ideally managing a small or medium size office. You must also have experience of a wide range of software packages eg Sageline 50, Xero, Quickbooks and ideally Iris for statutory accounts productions (or similar accounts production software) but training can be provided. This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of clients from a wide range of industries. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms, and you will have responsibility for overseeing the smooth running of the office and all staff. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a good quality Accounts Senior Manager from a practice background to join a growing firm in North London and carry out a high profile role with genuine progression to Partner grade on offer.
