Strategic Asset Manager THTS85229 Sale Salary £50,785 per annum, depending upon experience Trafford Housing Trust (THT) is an independent housing company providing more than 9,000 quality affordable homes within the Trafford area of Manchester. Joining us as Strategic Asset Manager, you will develop and implement the Trusts asset management plans and strategy. Reporting to the Head of Property Services, you will deliver an asset service that addresses the needs of our assets today and supports the delivery of investment programmes in line with the associations Asset Management Strategy, using modelling tools to shape the needs of the organisation. Providing strategic advice to support the implementation of and adherence to effective asset management principles, you will develop recommendations related to portfolio profile, deployment and redeployment, acquisition, disposal or retirement of specific major assets and create asset performance indicators, using the information to drive strategic at both property and estate level. This role demands an individual who is educated to Degree level in Building Surveying (or similar) and who has a significant amount of strategic asset management experience. You'll be skilled in identifying development opportunities, have a deep understanding of the market place and be able to provide expert advice, counsel and recommendations on asset management, valuation, acquisition and disposal to influence organisational decisions and initiatives. With professional membership to RICS, CIOB or another similar body, you will have a strong track record in delivering successful regeneration projects and programmes and demonstrate an understanding of stock condition issues. Experience of budget setting and monitoring is also a must, as an excellent understanding of stock condition surveying principles and Housing Quality Standard.
