responsibilities:
As Reporting Lead, you will be responsible for the outputs of a small team of reporting developers. You will hands-on, ensuring that requirements (captured in user stories) are understood, refined with appropriate acceptance criteria across multiple product build areas, that will often have competing priorities. You will be the lead for the co-ordination and management of all reporting, and ultimately be responsible for the quality of work your team produces. Ideally, you will have the capability to get hands-on with report building to add additional capacity to the team during peak periods. Essential skills and experience required: Significant experience of developing reports within SSRS Significant experience of writing and tuning SQL queries Refine user stories and acceptance criteria in preparation for build, consistently Manage the reporting backlog and ensure requirements from the programme are understood and sized Align reporting build with wider process end to end delivery Manage team resource allocation, priorities and capability Ensure coding and build standards are implemented consistently Provide unit testing of report building Peer code review Provide expert guidance on the production of appropriate reports to meet requirements Work with colleagues to resolve issues that are blocking progress Provide progress reports to the programme management team Hands-on experience of designing and developing reports within SSRS Ensure technical documentation is sufficient to support service transition to the business teams LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is an HMG Approved Consultancy and operates as an IT & Engineering Consultancy or as an Employment Business & Agency, depending upon the precise nature of the work, for security cleared jobs or non-clearance vacancies, we welcome applications from all sections of the community and from people with diverse experience and backgrounds.
