Audit & Accounts Senior - Wellingborough - £30-40k neg. benefits/training - Progression Audit & Accounts Senior £30,000 - £40,000 (negotiable) plus mileage allowance and benefits 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday/as required Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Permanent progression Our well established and experienced Accountancy firm are looking for an Auditor/Accounts Senior, ideally with previous Accountancy Practice background and ACCA/ACA qualifications. There is room for progression for the right candidate to Partner level. Graduates with working knowledge of Auditing may also be considered. The main objective is to develop the Audit team and in the future the Audit Senior will be responsible for a small audit team and will supervise, motivate and develop the team of junior audit staff. The successful applicant will be required to review the work of junior personnel, as well as developing their skills and providing training and support. Key

responsibilities:
Schedule, plan and complete audits Report findings and discuss with partners audit issues and attend client sign off meetings Liaise with client FDs or company directors Lead, manage and develop the team of junior auditors Assist with other audit matters and projects, such as grant claims and solicitors rules The ideal candidate will: Be experienced in an Accountancy Practice environment and qualified (ACA / ACCA) Have strong knowledge and experience of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards (UK and Ireland) Be able to provide technical support to other staff.
