Element has an opportunity for a Group Accountant to join our growing team in London. Reporting to the Director of Group Reporting, this role will support the day to day preparation of group management accounts and board reporting. Our new Group Accountant will play an essential part in strengthening internal controls, improving efficiencies in reporting process and handle any other ad hoc finance tasks.

Responsibilities:
Monthly management accounting and board reporting Accounting for group holding companies Group cash and other treasury management Digitisation of reports and improvements to the management dashboards Involvement in a wide variety of group finance related project work Accounting for change in valuation of financial instruments Group interest accrual calculations Tracking group exceptional costs Year end reporting and audit preparation support Ad hoc analysis for covenant purposes, to support acquisition activity and tax compliance Skills & Qualifications: ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification Familiarity with international consolidations This role would suit someone looking for a first role in a PE backed business, recently qualified, although a different profile and skill set will also be considered dependant on experience
