I am currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a highly successful engineering company based on the outskirts of Swansea. The ideal candidate will assist with the Purchase and Sales ledgers, VAT, Bank Reconciliations, Nominal Reconciliations, Management Accounts Preparation to trial balance, Accruals/Prepayments, Statement reconciliations, Dealing with multiple suppliers and customers, Weekly and Monthly payment runs, BACS payments and similar duties as required. The ideal applicant will be ambitious and working towards AAT qualification as a minimum, possess good foundational knowledge in an all-round accountancy role covering the above duties and also be looking for a role and company you can grow within. The ablity to demonstrate a good working knowledge of excel in order to produce various management information reports for external parties will be advantageous. This position would be ideal for a school leaver or a recent graduate keen to embark on a rewarding career path.
