- £180-£220 per day - Assistant Accountant - Central London This leading Real Estate Investment Manager is based in the heart of the West End and has a fantastic reputation for progressing and training its staff. They are currently looking to recruit a temporary Assistant Accountant for a 3-6 month duration with the possibility of it going permanent. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the role will be very diverse and interesting and will involve the following responsibilities. The candidate does not need to have fund accounting experience, just a good understanding of accounting and the ability to learn new skills. Fund Reporting - Assist in checking and publishing the weekly, monthly and quarterly NAV - Weekly Liquidity and hedging reporting - Assist in preparation and review of monthly and quarterly reporting. - Manage audit queries Fund Accounting / Operations - Cash Management - Ensuring payments are made on time and carrying out necessary reconciliations on payment logs and bank statements - Fund cash forecasting - Assist in tax compliance matters - Maintaining relationships with 3rd party administrators and banks Deal / Transaction Support - Assist in funding of investments - Provide depository bank with relevant information / reporting - Manage Drawdown & Distributions Other - Various Ad hoc projects and queries - internal & external This is a fantastic opportunity to join a young and entrepreneurial business.
