Eden Scott's client is a well-established firm based in Aberdeen. Our client has a requirement for an Assistant Accountant to join its team on a temporary basis. There may be the opportunity for this position to become permanent. Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation, input and maintenance of accurate financial records Assisting with the preparation and analysis of monthly accounting statements and financial reports Performing monthly, quarterly and yearly variance analyses comparing budget and forecasts with actuals, and provide other analysis as requested Maintaining and analysing general ledger accounts Reviewing and processing invoice/expense reports Coding and approval of invoices Preparation of external and intercompany invoices Ensuring bank balances are reconciled to bank statements Balance Sheet reconciliations Assisting with internal & external audits as required Requirements Candidates should: Be immediately available Have previous experience in a similar role Have strong IT skills To discuss this role in more detail please email
