Due to internal promotion Reed Finance are working exclusively with a £25 Million T/O business in Bradford in the search for a Financial Controller. You'll work directly with the CEO, heading up the day to day financial activities including but not limited to; preparation of month end accounts, VAT returns, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, oversee the management of the sales and purchase ledgers, accruals and prepayments, audits and year end statutory accounts and annual returns. You will be responsible for setting and checking targets and monitoring the performance of each department including sales within the business in line with their set budgets. You will also be responsible for preparing with the Group Financial Controller the Strategic Plan and the following year's budget. You will implement and maintain all financial controls and systems within the business, identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures this will include Financial, business, and IT.
