Butler Rose, a specialist finance agency within the Oxfordshire market are currently supporting the recruitment for a successful industry leading global manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire. The job holder will report directly to the Operations Director and work with a small finance team of 4 to support the UK business activities. The role will also offer an opportunity to Business Partner and liaise with non-finance and senior stakeholders providing decision support and analysis. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in an all round, hands on Financial Controller position from a small to medium sized business and have extensive cash flow management. Experience from a manufacturing background is highly advantageous, as well as being a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). The role will involve;
• Oversee all company accounts and investment
• Managing cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing forecasts
• Production of management accounts pack, including the posting of all journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Presentation of financial information to Directors.
• Management of the annual / quarterly budgeting and forecasting process.
• Annual statutory accounts / tax returns.
• Manage relationships with external bodies such as the bank, insurers and other financial bodies.
• Motivate and lead finance team by clarifying roles and mentoring their development.
• Production of sales reports and calculations of sales commissions.
• Production and submission of VAT returns.
• Management of various ad hoc projects as needed and continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes.
