A pharmaceutical organisation based south of Cambridge are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. This role will sit within a medium sized finance team and will report into the Management Accountant, this is a great opportunity to work within an exciting and fast paced environment. The main duties are as follows - - Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts - Prepare and enter monthly journals - Calculate and post accruals/prepayments - Assist in the production of balance sheet reconciliations - Assist in the preparation of information for external and internal auditors. You must comfortable using Excel and have strong written and verbal communication skills, for the right candidate this role could be offered on a permanent basis after the interview stage.
