Alexander Daniels are working in partnership with a well known organisation based in Cheltenham to recruit an Interim Financial Accountant on a 3-4 month period to support their busy period. The Interim Financial Accountant will be a fully qualified, strong technical accountant with extensive statutory reporting knowledge under IFRS and UK GAAP and will ideally be immediately available or able to start at short notice.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of the consolidated IFRS Group accounts Act as a key contact and have a hands on role in the success of the Group audits at year end and interim. Implement new financial reporting standards that affect the Group and be aware of new upcoming financial reporting standards. Be responsible for and prepare the local GAAP statutory accounts for all entities Project manage and take ownership for the audits of all entities Monitor intercompany recharges and compliance with transfer pricing requirements. Prepare monthly financial reporting packs for overseas entities. You must be: A qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA A strong technical accountant with statutory accounting experience under IFRS and UK GAAP Experienced liaising with external auditors A strong communicator Available immediately or at short notice If you feel you have the suitable capabilities for this assignment and are a qualified accountant please do not hesitate to apply
