I am currently recruiting for a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst in Cambridge to support but also challenge the operational and sales functions on the quality of business data, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to support business decisions. As a key member of the Commercial Finance department this role will be responsible for driving overall data quality, timely reporting, business compliance and the development of new BI tools. Main duties:
• Assisting the FBM during the budgeting and forecasting process
• Variance analysis of key financial statements
• Providing insights on the financial health of the organization
• Look for cost-reduction opportunities
• Assisting with cost model maintenance and return on investment calculation for the R&D department
• OPEX analysis and business partnering with other departments
• Weekly, monthly and annual reporting duties
• Contribute towards the monthly Commercial Finance Reporting Pack (e.g. GM analysis, OPEX analysis, headcount analysis)
• Work with Sales team to manage the weekly/monthly forecast processes You will have proven experience as a Finance Analyst or working within an FPA function. Knowledge of reporting standards and management accounting techniques and exceptional in use of Excel modelling Ideally you will be a qualified or part qualified accountant ACA,ACCA,CIMA or equivalent
