JOB TITLE:

LOCATION:
Nottingham
SALARY:
£35,000 - £40,000 but there could be some negotiation for the right person. BENEFITS: excellent benefits that you would expect from a business of this magnitude. THE COMPANY They are part of a global group that turns over circa £40 billion, employ over 150,000 employees across 80 countries. This part of their business makes around £7.6 billion in sales and has 50,000 employees across the world with a customer base that spreads over 150 countries. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Core responsibilities include; budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost control and variance analysis. This role will gather financial data, analyse it and derive conclusion to drive business results. Will lead projects & initiatives within finance, represent finance in cross-functional projects and support operations with financial reporting and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis for entities, regions or functions Performance controlling and financial analysis of contracts, customers or regions Generate, analyse and comment financial statements and reports Support operations with accurate and timely analysis of performance indicators Track cost reduction measures and foster continuous improvement of processes Works across multiple accounting, reporting, and business database systems Assists in month-end, quarterly, and year-end close process as needed Administration of the internal Business Intelligence Tool Collaborate with various functional and operational teams Drive continuous improvement in all areas assigned Proactively identify potential issues, alert key stakeholders and take actions to assure compliance with plans Regular travel to entities and regions All other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience working as a Financial Analyst Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel Computer literacy including Microsoft packages Very good accounting knowledge Experience in working with ERP systems preferably Navision Experience in working with BI Tools preferably Jedox Palo For more information of the opportunity please contact Dan Pilkington at Imperial Recruitment Group
