Our client is a market leading professional services organisation based able to offer flexibility in their growing team. Duties: Working as part of an established and highly respected tax team, you will be involved in predominately Corporate Tax with responsibilities ranging from compliance to project work to support other departments. Depending on your level of experience you may either support an existing portfolio or be responsible for your own clients. The role will entail corporate tax compliance, developing your advisory skills and supporting the Tax Managers and Tax Directors in research. You will liaise with other departments including Audit, Corporate Finance and Personal Tax to ensure the provision of an efficient and effective service to the Firm's clients Person Specification: It is anticipated that the successful Tax Senior or Assistant Tax manager will be able to demonstrate: ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification (or equivalent), or be an active studier Previous experience of Tax gained within an Accountancy Firm A genuine desire to develop a corporate career tax, whether you background was a mixed role in practice, or personal and corporate tax. Initiative, proactivity, professionalism and confidence An eye for detail, effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team A background within a professional services is preferred however a suitable candidate may also have trained in practice and now be working in industry.
