Tesco Bank have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our busy Commercial Insurance team. In this role you will be responsible for improving pricing sophistication and the competitiveness of our Insurance products utilising data analysis and statistical modelling skills. You will deliver modelling and analysis activities in line with the pricing development plan and support our model development process to enhance our pricing models. Key responsibilities Peer review and challenge of models built by colleagues within the team to ensure that models remain fit for purpose, including feedback loop into continuous improvement. Ensuring compliance with model governance policy. Writing and maintaining SAS code for data extraction and manipulation Performing exploratory analysis on data to identify new features Investigating new modelling techniques, factors, interactions, external data etc. to enhance pricing models Investigating new pricing algorithms, factors, interactions, etc. to enhance our pricing algorithms Using data analysis and pricing knowledge to support the delivery of change initiatives Supporting implementation of rate changes and system testing, in line with Commercial Pricing Process Required skills and experience Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial graduate desirable Data/statistical analysis Strong work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team. Self-motivated individual with a challenging mind-set to improve business practices.
