The Immigration team at Deloitte assist many global organisations with their immigration needs, ensuring that the business and individual remain compliant with their immigration obligations at all times. At Deloitte, immigration services are delivered by our GES practice to provide a distinctive and joined up client experience. Global Consular Analyst is responsible for supporting Consultants who assist individuals travelling internationally for business. The Analyst will provide administrative support by drafting communications and application documents but will drive the application process for the Consultant. Your role The Global Consular Consultant is responsible for working within strict timelines and communicating with authorities and clients on a regular basis visa email or telephone. Clients must be treated individually and the process tailored to suit them. The Global Consular Consultant must have a strong understanding of border control procedures as well as any related legislation. As an Analyst, you are building your knowledge and expertise as an immigration professional with us. From day one, you will have access to senior leadership in the business to help you develop and grow your understanding of the commercial environment we operate in; develop your knowledge of Deloitte, our clients, industries and markets in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will be supported in building your professional knowledge, internal and external networks, and be able to contribute to our overall success via team work and the production of high quality analysis and client deliverables. You will work within a close-knit team, enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise with others, as well as continuing to build your own technical expertise or specialism. Responsibilities will include:
• Researching visa application document requirements and application procedures across various regions.
• Drafting visa submission documents (including applications forms and supporting letters), booking appointments and making online visa application payments (when required).
• Updating Work-in-Progress and internal systems, ensuring the maintenance of data integrity.
• Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case status/issues to Consultant and supervisors.
• Providing general administrative support as required.
• Assistance with ad-hoc project duties, including research and showcasing results. Location:
London (Chiswick office) Work pattern: This is a permanent opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis. Your professional experience
• Strong IT skills, including very good Ms Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and local software.
• Strong immigration technical skills with within corporate immigration and/or consular knowledge.
• Experience managing transitions and implementation projects, preferable.
• Experience working with immigration technology tools, preferable.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Process driven with excellent attention to detail.
