GBP 36,696 pro rata per annum (GBP 22,017 for 21 hours)Do you want to lead our strategic approach to risk management across our organisation? We have a fantastic opportunity. This is a fully flexible position, allowing you to choose your own working location and tailor your working pattern to suit your own needs for an experienced Risk Manager (Corporate) to join our Strategy, Planning and Performance team on a permanent basis.About the roleEngaging with senior leaders and stakeholders, you will identify, manage and control risks through robust approaches and processes across the organisation. You will provide expert support, advice and leadership in an ongoing programme to drive a strategic approach to risk management, overseeing the risk champion group and working with leaders and their teams to ensure that risk management is fully integrated within strategic planning, operational delivery and performance monitoring.You will design and deliver a programme of training for staff across the organisation to embed an effective risk management culture, ownership and responsibility for risk management.You will make recommendations for putting in place a risk management system that supports best practice and is usable by teams across the organisation to record and manage risk.You will prepare quarterly risk reports to present to our executive leadership and the Board. The location is flexible within our offices in the UK. If the successful candidate is based in London, the annual salary will be GBP 24,024 for 21 hours (including Inner London Weighting). We refuse to ignore people in crisis.About youAs the right candidate you will have a combination of: Experience of overseeing corporate risk management in complex organisationsKnowledge of effective approaches to risk management in the third sectorExperience influencing and improving risk management in large organisation contexts and driving culture and behaviour change.Ability to work across teams and at leadership level to drive robust transparent risk management practices and approaches in complex and multi-disciplinary contexts to improve risk management maturity.Experience setting up, embedding and using risk management systems that reinforce best practice and improve risk management maturity.Experience delivering engaging risk management training to a range of audiences that enables individuals and teams to understand their role and responsibility.
