Interim Financial Controller South London Contract Length - 6 months We are an entrepreneurial business and therefore the business moves at pace to implement and drive new opportunities. Finance has historically been a function with minimal investment and hence, processes and procedures need tighten up, while working in collaboration with other functions (operations, marketing, HR etc.). Key Duties / Projects Manage the Yearend Audit Be the key point of contact for the auditors to completion of the audit. Own and hands on manage the data flow from/to auditors Hands on production and reconciliations of each of the balance sheet accounts in conjunction with production of yearend audit file. Challenging reconciliation of pension and cash/credit card control accounts Review of existing controls within internal finance processes with the view to resolving these issues. Manage/Oversee the transactional finance department. To achieve outputs within required hard deadlines; Production of Monthly Management accounts Payment of stakeholders i.e. weekly supplier and expenses payment run, monthly payment run, quarterly rents, HMRC payments Timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as agreed with CFO Manage the finance team to ensure stability and clarity of roles and responsibilities to achieve hard deadlines. Ensuring development and coaching of team as required. Production of weekly cash position for weekly cashflow. Creation and production of finance policy and procedures document Review of each finance team member Job Description and correction to new processes and procedures as required.
