Trainee Accountant

Salary:
£21,000-23,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hertford Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm An excellent opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join a successful financial organisation to service their valued clients and develop their skillset. Company Benefits: £2,000-3,000 bonus available yearly 20 days annual leave bank holidays Onsite parking available Fantastic training and progression routes on offer 100-150 clients to inherit Team lunches The Role: Working closely with contractors to support their payroll processes Managing your own portfolio of 100-150 clients Preparing accounts Liaising with HMRC Offer bespoke accounting advice Respond to client queries in a timely manner Manage client relationships and develop strong rapport Work as a team to achieve agreed quality of service Undertake other duties as directed by your line manager Skills/Experience Required: Previous accounts based experience Experience using one of the following: Xero, FreeAgent or Quickbooks AAT qualified or currently studying towards this Confident, proactive individual Solid experience with MS Office, including Excel & Word Should you be short listed for this position, a member of the Smart10 team will be in touch with you in the next five working days.
