Your main objective as a Strategic Account Director is to maximise commercial opportunities and ensure the retention of top clients while driving additional sales growth through new business initiatives.About Indesser - An Equifax CompanyIndesser is the Debt Market Integrator (DMI) - a joint venture between the Cabinet Office and TDX Group, an Equifax company, which was set up in 2015 to collect debt for the public sector more effectively and more responsibly, through providing a single point of access to the private sector debt management and data / analytics markets. TDX Group is a Nottingham based company which is part of the global business Equifax. We've been a pioneer in the debt recovery industry for over a decade, helping businesses drive fair and appropriate consumer treatment by using data and intelligence.About the JobAs our new Strategic Account Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of Indesser's relationship with major, complex and multi-divisional clients within the public sector, including all Business Development activities. You will have specific accountability for business retention, new business revenue growth, improving profitability and driving the highest possible standards of relationship management in relation to service delivery.You will actively engage with the client on a consultative basis to learn their business, anticipate their needs and then create and develop strategic Indesser solutions. You will understand the challenges faced by clients and adapt the use of Indesser solutions to demonstrate a clear return on investment for the customer. You will be a "trusted advisor" to the client that is sought after to solve problems and deliver solutions. To be successful in the role, you will have the ability and confidence to promote and sell the Indesser institution, in addition to products and solutions and will influence internal product development to implement strategies that help meet the changing needs of the client and market and add new value for both Indesser and its customer.The Indesser business represents a highly significant UK and international growth engine for both TDX and Equifax and this role is pivotal to leading and spearheading the growth opportunity across the Government landscape.Responsibilities of the Strategic Account Director include:You will spend the majority of your time with existing Clients on solutions, sales and service, building seamless customer centricity and interactionYou will nurture and drive effective strategic relationships with all key contacts and decision makers within each account in order to maximise business opportunities and ensure retention of top clientsYou will lead new sales opportunities and execute sales process from presentation through to contract negotiations and close, including:shaping strategic solutionsrelating it to the customer's businesscreating compelling proposalsunderstanding the competitor's strengths and weaknesses and differentiating proposalsproviding technical solution developmentbuilding strong business casesYou will understand client requirements and subsequently develop and implement appropriate services and account sales plans to win significant revenues and drive user adoption of our solutionsYou will lead multi-functional teams and work with Indesser Consultants to formulate and develop significant sales opportunities and deliver strategic client solutionsYou will develop first-class sales methodologies and collateral and be a 'knowledge bank' for market and competitor knowledgeYou will develop, implement and own financial plans and forecasts by client division and product group. Ensure the accurate completion of all forecasts and account reportingYou will understand and feed into the Indesser long-term business strategy and constructively identify and inspire changes that improve performanceYou will people manage account management and business development staff as necessaryYou will raise overall staff capabilities through identification and progressing of individual development needsRequirements Required Skills:You will have a successful sales track record, leading complex high value customer relationshipsDemonstrable prior success as a large strategic account manager, with the ability to lead accounts with a potential revenue of £10mExperience leading and developing a team to successfully deliver high value multi-year sales in excess of £250,000 or moreAbility to run multiple lines of businessProven resilience and performance in driving revenue and negotiating deals with long sales cyclesExperience handling complex pricing negotiations and presenting to senior-level decision makersKnowledge of Consumer, Commercial and Marketing dataPreferred Skills:Bachelor's degree educationWhat Else?
