Acorn Finance is searching for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing organisation on the outskirts of Telford. Reporting into the senior financial controller, the Senior Financial will play a key role in all reporting requirements to both the division and corporate organisation. This position offers a competitive salary for a qualified Accountant who is looking to utilise their manufacturing experience and take their career to the next level. What the role will involve: - Preparing forecasts, P&L reports & Balance Sheet. - Monthly balance sheet reconciliations. - Preparing the internal and external audit packs. - Working closely with the product development teams to control capital investment, fixed asset and depreciation reconciliations. - Working with the commercial teams to ensure all revenue and expenditure risks are identified. - Supporting other departments with accounting queries. - Preparing information for all budgets, business plans and monthly forecasting submissions. The ideal candidate: - ACCA or CIMA qualified. - Established experience in the manufacturing industry. - Capability to work across the finance function. - High standards of month end reporting. - Previous experience using SAP.
