Senior Financial Controller, Milton Keynes, 3 month contract, circa £300-400 max per day/limited or umbrella Our client is leading global organisation who are currently recruiting an experienced Financial Controller to join the business in Milton Keynes For this role the client are ideally looking for someone to start in the next two weeks In this key role you'll be responsible for managing all Controlling functions related to their assigned responsibilities within the Portfolio Unit, Global or Local Customers, Business Unit within the organisation , performing all Controlling tasks and supporting the client team from a financial perspective. Key Responsibilities include : - Identifying problems and issues within the operational and strategic elements of the organisation and driving sound financial solutions. - Identify business needs and proactively drive the financial support required to meet those needs. -Improving and stream-lining processes to provide useful analysis and a true stakeholder management service. so driving and monitoring business performance to maximise the benefit to the organisation - Managing and driving change from a financial reporting, systems and controls perspective to enable and support our continued business growth and expansion - Demonstrate a clear understanding of business drivers, risks and operating metrics to fully support Executive Team members and business area heads and ensure financial risks are managed in an effective manner. - Provide commercial and financial leadership to business areas of responsibility supporting both local and global virtual finance teams, helping to build a 'one-team' environment. Ensuring all deadlines are met and all deliverables are produced accurately, timely and of requisite quality - Use above relationships to influence and steer decision making as well as embed a culture of financial and commercial challenge (income maximisation, cost minimisation, investment appraisal etc) ensuring that all the impacts of business decisions are understood, evaluated and communicated - Full controlling month end duties to ensure the accuracy of the monthly management accounts - All internal and external financial and management reporting including: Sound analytical review and evaluation of Risks and Opportunities within your accounting area of responsibility ; Where applicable collection, collation and commentary of results and reporting from participating LBU's ensuring quality, timeliness for global or local results and delivery to stakeholders Ensuring quality & consistency in reporting and projections on all KPI 's ( Key Performance Indicators ) e.g . Order Entry , Revenue , EBIT/DA, Investment , Headcount etc ); Experience required for this role : Fully professional qualified financial or management accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) Strong communication and interpersonal skills and team work across functional areas Extensive finance experience, Previous IT/Telco/Tech industry sector experience is highly desirable Good influencer and stakeholder manager and be able to work in a matrix organisation that may have competing objectives Passionate, high-energy, impactful teammate To apply for this role please send through your CV for consideration and we will be in touch should your experience match our criteria.
