Originally founded in 1945, Prestige Nursing Care is a family business and is recognised as one of the UK's most experienced and respected nursing and care agencies. Prestige Nursing are now looking to recruit a Credit Controller based at our Head Office with a keen interest in Accounts. The Credit Controller will be responsible for all aspects of sales ledger and credit control duties for a given group of accounts. This is to be done following the Company's Credit Control Procedures. The Credit Controller's specific duties will include: Accounts are chased in a timely and regular manner. Ensuring payments are chased for all debts over 90days Advise clients and Branch Manager of suspension of service. To reconcile accounts when necessary Liaise with branch on queries raised and resolved in a timely manner To escalate up to line manager where necessary on an account Creating new accounts in Access & correcting templates for pay run General credit control and ad hoc duties Good at resolving queries The Credit Controller should have the following Competence / Characteristics Team player Should be committed to doing credit control. Understand the need for confidentiality. Ability to converse effectively with clients and branch managers. Computer literate. Ability to work on own initiative - self starter, must be able to prioritise tasks and be a manager of time. Possess excellent administration skills. Have a positive disposition in life The Credit Controller should have Excellent literacy and numeracy skills A degree from a recognised university Have some experience in credit control preferably more than 3-5 years & have worked in call centre environment Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with a 1 hour unpaid break each day.
