Purchase Ledger Clerk - Romford To £20,000 per annum Our client is a leading and successful motor dealership network, operating over 30 sites across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, on behalf of the industry's biggest manufacturers. With a turnover in excess of £500M and over 600 staff, they now seek a Purchase Ledger Clerk, with an excellent eye for detail to join their finance team based in their Head Office in Romford. This is a role that will benefit a candidate currently studying the AAT or ACCA who is seeking an opportunity to develop hands-on accounting skills. The client will consider candidates with little accounting experience who are keen to learn, work hard and most importantly have a positive attitude. Description Accurately input high volumes of invoices onto the system Batching, coding and indexed for payment Proactively ensures that duplicate payments are minimised Assists in processing credit notes and invoices received Reconcile supplier statements Produce remittance advices Assist in processes expense claims Dealing with supplier queries Skills/Experience Seeking a career in finance Probably studying AAT or ACCA Able to work in a team Can work effectively under pressure Manage own workload A positive attitude
