A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join the finance function of a well-established and successful services business, based in Central Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great team in a busy role with the potential to take on additional responsibilities. Key responsibilities to include:
• Daily allocation and processing of payments
• Preparation of banking
• Collection of debts in a timely and effective manor
• Updating and maintaining spreadsheets
• Sending out statements
• Chasing invoices by phone, email and letter
• Dealing with queries from other departments
• Performing credit checks and reviewing credit limits
• Reconciliations
• Banking Rota
• Ad hoc duties when required Skills required:
• Good Excel skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and numeracy skills
• Able to establish good internal and external relationships
