A fantastic opportunity has arisen for and experienced Accounts Assistant to join this well-established business based in Huthwaite, covering maternity leave for 6 to 9 months. Reporting into the Financial Controller , your main duties as Assistant Accountant will include:
• Posting / processing of weekly subcontractor invoices and processing subcontractor payments
• Processing purchase invoices
• Processing of on-hold invoices, contacting suppliers and chasing credit notes
• Cover for payroll, both weekly and monthly staff
• Credit control, preparation of spreadsheet for outstanding invoices / chasing customers
• Preparation of rebate claims from supplier spend reports
• Any other tasks as required, we are a small team that supports each other The hours of work are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Fridays. Hourly rate is £10.00 to £11.00 per hour, depending on experience plus holiday pay and free parking This is a really friendly small accounts team and a lovely environment to work in.
