Our company turnover is now over £50m with an expanding portfolio of 53 galleries across the UK in the Whitewall Galleries and Clarendon Fine Art family, and we are growing The Role: Maintaining the treasury function for the business and assisting the Financial Controller in management accounting duties. Reporting into the Treasury Accountant. This is a hardworking and wonderfully friendly finance team that are looking for support in the Treasury department. Ideally you will have worked in a finance department and be well-versed with detailed bank reconciliations, reporting and dealing with day-to- day treasury queries. Duties will include: Deal with gallery emails, queries and calls coming into Treasury team Manage and reconcile the company's Interest Free/Credit facilities Reconciliation of merchant card receipts to NAV Performing balance sheet reconciliations Build and maintain relationships with third parties to the business Cover other members of team during holidays Other project and ad-hoc related activities Essential: Excel Skills - including pivot tables & V lookups Good systems skills - use of Microsoft Navision would be an advantage (or SAP/SAGE). Able to manage workload and meet weekly and monthly deadlines Attention to detail Good commercial awareness Have strong communication, analytical & time management skills Team player This is a fixed term contract for minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Ideally you will have little or no notice period as you will be ideally looking to join the business by the end of July 2019.
