ROLE Initially, this role will cover both reception duties (covering a Maternity period), and credit control duties within our Finance department. Following a handover, you will be required to work autonomously within the reception environment dealing with a range of tasks from telephony and company visitors, to administration. You will also be required to support various Sales Administration activities. Your journey within finance will start as a Credit Controller. This will involve running system reports, contacting customers, and will also include attending a weekly meeting to discuss cashflow forecasts. Following the maternity cover, you will permanently join a small Finance team, taking on additional tasks and learning about the wider finance function. Any other ad-hoc requests. You will report to the Managing Director so accuracy and timeliness will be key, along with a positive attitude and a clear and concise telephone manor. PERSON SPECIFICS Qualifications, either: 5 GCSE's (A-C) or Some minor accounting experience or Started some accountancy training (eg. AAT) You will be familiar with Microsoft Office applications (outlook, word, and excel) to at least a basic level Microsoft Dynamics experience desired but not essential General administration experience desired but not essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn PACKAGE
Salary:
£18,000-22,000 per annum depending upon skills and experience. Duration: Permanent with a 3-month probation period. Hours: 40 hours a week. Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays. Benefits: Pension/Pay related Bonus schedule based on the company annual Performance.
