FP&A Analyst As a result of an internal move a vacancy has arisen in the Group FP&A team of a market leading PE backed Leisure/Entertainment business. Operating on a global scale the business is experiencing considerable growth and consistently hitting ambitious targets This role offers significant opportunities to progress quickly, gain broad commercial exposure and get involved in several ongoing growth projects. Someone with a highly commercial approach is essential. Responsibilities for the FP&A Analyst: Working closely with the Group FP&A Director to review the business plan and budget across the group Develop the Group forecasting and budgeting processes Challenge the status quo of current decision making and use both financial and non-financial metrics to develop and improve processes Work with the Group FP&A Director to manage the consolidation of group performance from country FDs for monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting cycles. Provide informative commentary on key business issues to inform decision making and reviewing KPI performance Present key information to senior leadership teams, recognizing the wants of senior stakeholders and communicating in a concise and informative manner Key business partner to overhead departments. Identify opportunities for cost savings or improve margins. Ensure capex and opex are reported on effectively Develop the business plan with budget holders Support senior finance colleagues in implementing change across the financial reporting cycle, harmonise this across the group to ensure consistent reporting and analysis Provide subject matter expertise to decision makers to ensure better business decisions are made Develop internal relationships to uncover internal difficulties and manual processes and work to develop and improve these with utilization of technology. The candidate: Qualified accountant, ACA or CIMA preferred, ideally with relevant PQE within a multi-site leisure/entertainment business Demonstrated history of academic achievement and career development Familiar with data warehousing and building end-user reports Systems savvy, TM1 preferred Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence a variety of internal stakeholders on a global scale A hands-on and diligent approach Dynamic personality with a highly analytical approach
