Your new company
A midlands renowned construction organisation based in Derbyshire. They specialise in a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, retail and education. The organisation prides itself on being a family run company with this being mirrored in their office environment. They are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting to an Accounts Manager, you will aid in the general running of the department. This will involve duties such as bank reconciliation , balancing of purchase ledger, subcontractor ledger and cost and nominal ledger and weekly payroll. You will be working in a small team where effective communication is necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, carrying out similar duties, will be essential for success in this role. You should be an excellent team player with brilliant communication skills and the ability to manage projects effectively. AAT level 4, level 3 or QBE will also be considered. Previous experience working within a construction organisation will be beneficial although not essential.
