Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller you will be responsible for the upkeep of the SAP finance system as well as aspects of reporting and financial reconciliations. Key areas of focus will include leading the month-end process and reporting packs, forecasts and ad-hoc finance reporting. You will complete monthly balance sheet reconciliation, audit packs and work closely with product development teams to control capital investment, Fixed Asset and Depreciations. You will also work on different finance projects and ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA or applicants who are passed finalist/qualified by experience. You will have a high level of experience and knowledge of transactional accounting, ability to manage most aspects of month end close whist working to strict deadlines. Previous experience with SAP would be helpful as well as experience in a similar position within the manufacturing sector. We would also like applicants with a working knowledge of UK regulatory standards - IFRS/SOX.
