Reporting into Senior management as Fund Accountant you will primarily support accounting, reporting, treasury, audit and tax functions of an allocated portfolio. If you have worked within a practice or financial services environment previously this could be a great next step.

Description

As Fund Accountant you will be responsible for the following;

  • Prepare management accounts for clients on an accrual basis
  • Develop a clear understanding of clients reporting requirements
  • Prepare timely and accurate year-end support files for audit
  • Prepare draft annual and financial statements
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors
  • Prepare and maintain performance returns
  • Cash management reports
  • Work with and provide support to the treasury team

Profile

The successful Fund Accountant will have the following desirable skill set;

  • Professional accounting qualification ACCA/CIMA or equivalent desirable
  • Private equity knowledge preferred by not essential
  • Financial services experience desirable
  • UK or US GAAP knowledge desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Competent use of MS Excel
  • German spoken and written desirable not essential
