Job Title : Head of Reporting - Finance Location : Wigmore Street, London Rate : £400 per day Hours : 9-5, Monday - Friday Contract : 6 month Contract with scope to extend ALL APPLICANTS MUST EITHER BE SC CLEARED OR ABILITY TO GAIN SC CLEARANCE & UK PASSPORT HOLDERS Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance and working closely with the lead financial reporting accountant, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Accountant with a "Big 4" Audit background, to lead and execute month-end and quarter-end P&L distribution and forecast consolidation for departments of responsibility. The contract is with a global engineering company, based in their Aviation division and located at their head offices in Central London. Due to length of contract, we are able to look at individuals with a range of sector experience, although aviation experience is preferred. Further Duties will include:-
• Manage the central finance team for centre cost Companies
• Own the production of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc financial reporting for the Group Head Office
• Ensuring the delivery of accurate and consistent data quality in the financial systems across the sector business lines
• Craft and manage SAP BPC reports, working closely with Group finance and Operating entities across the business.
• Work with business operations, and other key stakeholders to generate requested reporting output Background Experience Required: - ICAEW ACA qualification or equivalent - "Big 4" audit background (3 - 5 years PQE) - Ability to understand and manipulate data to present clear and concise financial messages for review. This is an initial 6 month contract with strong prospects for further extension - potentially leading to a permanent post. Candidates must be UK/EU nationals able to pass security clearance checks.
