A well-known technology business is recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst in a newly created role reporting to the Commercial Finance Director. You will support the delivery of business strategy through insight. The business is not utilising the huge amount of customer, product and financial information it possesses effectively. You will consolidate, analyse and visualise this information to drive business performance. This will include identifying trends in complex data sets, quickly react to ad hoc requests for data and information from the business, and conduct post investment / implementation reports and analysis. You will need to work proactively and build strong and credible relationships across the business to demonstrate the value of business intelligence. The successful candidate with have a proven track record of working analytical tools and handling large data sets. You will be excellent at communicating data to non-technical colleagues and genuinely interested and excited about working with data to drive a business forward. Naturally, you will be highly numerate and demonstrate excellent commercial acumen. You will demonstrate a good understanding of a technology business, but no specific industry knowledge is required. This is an excellent opportunity in a growing business where you will be have significant exposure to the most senior stakeholders. This role would be suitable for a part qualified / qualified accountants, but that is not a prerequisite for the role.
