Finance Assistant Atherstone £31,040 - rising yearly An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, confident and self-motivated Finance Assistant , to join our reputable and expanding client, an industry recognised, and global retailer based at their Head Office in Atherstone. This a varied role, where you will provide support to a specialist field, such as Finance & Administration, Personnel & Treasury, Handling of Payments or Project Management. You will be a reliable point of contact for any related queries. Finance Assistant

responsibilities:
Liaises with internal and external auditors and external bodies when required Trains other employees where appropriate Prepares Corporate Bulletins Reviews and analyses the planned capital expenditure reports Prepares the actual capital expenditure reports Prepares foreign exchange forecasts and places orders as required Collates daily bank investment information Prepares weekly analysis of investments Prepares the cash flow analysis forecast Prepares the estimated cash balances report Prepares and distributes national reports as required Distributes consolidated financials as required Reviews and analyses International Key Management Ratio report and produces summary Report for National management actions dividend payments Ensures National and International Deadlines are complied with for own area of responsibility Ensures the security of documentation and electronic data in the area of responsibility Maintains appropriate backups and logs for data in the area of responsibility Checks invoices for services and equipment in the area of responsibility following company procedures Maintains an efficient and well organised filing system for area of responsibility Ensures that all documentation in the area of responsibility is archived orderly for the correct period and arranges its disposal at the end of the archive period The successful Finance Assistant must possess: A Levels or above Relevant Accounts experience Experience in a Purchase Ledger Assistant role Excellent attention to detail Strong work ethic Able to work under pressure, multi task and prioritise own workload/input data accurately Takes personal responsibility for resolve queries and issues Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills SAP experience (preferred) The successful Finance Assistant can expect: 5 weeks annual leave bank holidays Company pension Private employee medical insurance after 6 months At Inplace Recruitment we believe it is people that make the business succeed, the right people, expertly placed in the correct positions.
